Principles and legal framework governing the investements in Algeria

“Freedom to invest", "non-discrimination", "investment protection" and "intangibility of benefits” are the main principles governing investments in Algeria.

 The current legal and regulatory framework encourages investments and favours development of the private sector. It allows any individual or legal entity, whether Algerian or foreign, to invest in economic activities relating to the production of goods and services, and to partake the investments made as part of concessions and/or licenses awards.
